T.I.M.E.'s artistic director, Scott Leithead, is the founder of the TIME and Kokopelli Associations. Scott has worked as a clinician, guest director, and evaluator at events in Canada, Europe, Asia and Africa. He has conducted honour choirs in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Quebec, Ontario, Saskatchewan and British Columbia. Scott has a passion for music from southern Africa and he has been hired to work with choirs in South Africa and Namibia on numerous occasions. In 2008/09, Scott was on sabbatical in Namibia, where he worked with the Mascato Youth Choir and numerous other choirs in southern Africa. Scott’s passion for innovative and unique choral music experiences has shaped the direction of the T.I.M.E. Association.

Recent appearances include: Conducting the Ellison Canadian Honour Choir, The NW ACDA Regional Honour Choir in Seattle and adjudicating the Tampere Festival in Finland.

In 2017/18 Scott has been invited to conduct provincial honour choirs in BC, Saskatchewan and he will return to conduct the Ellison Canadian Honour Choir for the 5th time.  In addition he has been invited to work at festivals and with choirs in 7 provinces as well as in the USA and Africa.
